Hello Everyone,
My name is Scott Lockie and I’m CEO of the Australian Charity Guide and our training arm emPOWER Your Mission.
Over the past three years, I have trained over 880 charities and I’ve had the privilege of sharing our insights with so many inspiring and passionate people working in our sector, from board members, CEO’s, right through to marketers, fundraisers and service delivery staff.
As the bulk of my training is face-to-face, my business (which is my passion) has been hugely impacted by the lockdown measures. We’ve had to cancel workshops and try to innovate our service delivery.
I’ve been faced with two choices. Sit and sulk at home or continue to try to make a difference. I’ve decided to do the latter.
The NFP sector has been so good to me over the years and it pains me to see so many great causes, organisations and people struggling.
